Getting started

Creating an account

What you need before you can place your first order.

  • Register with your email and set a password, or sign in with a one-time code.
  • Complete verification to unlock the full platform.
  • Add funds to your account once verification is complete.

Verifying your account

Documents, review times and the usual reasons for rejection.

  • You will need Aadhaar (both sides), PAN, a live selfie and a bank proof.
  • Review usually completes within 24–48 working hours.
  • Names must match across documents — mismatches are the most common rejection.

Trading

Finding an instrument

Search across every segment, or work from a watchlist.

  • Search by symbol or company name to reach any listed contract.
  • Add instruments to a watchlist and open an order ticket from a row.
  • For options, use the option chain to pick a strike and expiry.

Placing an order

Choosing an order type and sizing the position correctly.

  • Market fills immediately; Limit waits for your price.
  • SL and SL-M activate at a trigger — the trigger is not the price you pay.
  • Derivatives and commodities are sized in lots; the ticket shows the contract size.
How trading works

When you can trade

Each segment keeps its own hours.

  • Equities 09:15–15:30, equity derivatives to 15:40.
  • Currency 09:00–17:00. Commodities run into the evening.
  • An order placed while a segment is closed is rejected with the reopening time.
Session details by segment

Changing or cancelling an order

Anything that has not filled can still be managed.

  • Modify the price of a resting order without cancelling and re-placing it.
  • Cancelling releases the balance blocked against the order.
  • The Orders screen shows the live state of everything you have placed.

Portfolio

Positions and holdings

Why the same instrument can appear in two places.

  • Holdings are delivery purchases held across sessions.
  • Positions are intraday trades still open in the current session.
  • Both revalue at the latest price, so unrealised P&L moves through the day.

Auto square-off

What happens to intraday positions at the close.

  • Open intraday positions are closed automatically when the session ends.
  • The result is realised into your account balance.
  • Delivery holdings are unaffected and carry over.

Funds & account

Balance and blocked funds

Where your account balance goes when you trade.

  • Placing an order blocks part of the balance against it.
  • Cancelling or closing releases it back to available balance.
  • Modelled charges are deducted so P&L stays realistic.

SIP and IPO

Recurring investments and public issue applications.

  • A SIP accumulates an equity or ETF on a schedule you choose.
  • IPO applications are made in lots and resolve through the allotment process.
  • Both are managed from your account, with status visible throughout.

Something is not working

Getting a problem looked at properly.

  • Refresh first — a transient network error will not sign you out.
  • Note what you were doing and what you expected to happen.
  • Raise a ticket from inside the platform so it is linked to your account.
